Opening a wholesale peptide account: who qualifies and what it takes
Written 23 September 2026 by the trade desk. About 2 minutes to read.
The account takes a few minutes. What it takes is a real business, a way to reach you, and an understanding of what the goods are.
Who qualifies
Businesses buying for resale or for laboratory use: resellers, distributors and research laboratories. Every account is opened on the understanding that the end use is laboratory research. A person trading before their company is registered can open the account in their own name, on the same understanding of business purpose and laboratory end use.
What is asked
A business or personal name, a contact name, an email, a phone number that reaches you, the country you operate in, the type of business and a rough monthly volume. Later, and only if it applies to you: a resale or tax-exemption certificate, a licence number where your category needs one, or a confirmation that the end use is laboratory research.
Approval
Accounts open on application. The desk can still decline or suspend an account afterwards, and does where the application does not describe a business.
Prices and tiers
Every price is visible before the account exists; the account is what lets you order at it. Accounts that move consistent volume are reviewed for a better tier on request.
Credit terms
New accounts prepay. An established account applies for credit terms from its dashboard, and the desk decides on order history, regularity and the size of the line requested. Terms belong to the account, not to a single order.
Team members and addresses
An account can carry more than one person. The person who opens it can add colleagues with their own sign-in and a role, so that the buyer, the person who receives goods and the person who pays the proforma can each see what they need without sharing a password. Several delivery addresses can be saved and chosen per order, which matters for a distributor shipping to more than one site.
What the account gives you that the public pages do not
A basket that turns into a proforma with a payment address of its own; an order page that shows the payment as it arrives and the tracking number when it leaves; a record of every batch number ever shipped to you, which is your side of traceability; a quote and RFQ form for quantities or presentations that are not on the list; and, for accounts that trade regularly, the credit application.
Closing an account
Ask the desk. Contact details are removed; trading records stay for as long as tax law and batch traceability require, and nothing else is kept.
