What differs between BPC-157 and KPV
Fifteen residues against three, both supplied as the acetate. BPC-157 is GEPPPGKPADDAGLV, C62H98N16O22 at 1,419.6; KPV is lysyl-prolyl-valine, the last three residues of alpha-MSH, C16H30N4O4 at 342.4, a free acid where alpha-MSH ends in an amide. Neither has a residue that oxidises or deamidates, so the related substances of both are synthesis by-products, such as a chain one residue short, which for KPV is the dipeptide. Neither chain has an aromatic residue, so both absorb at 210 to 220 nm, the wavelengths of the peptide bond, and barely at 280 nm. The two are sold together in KLOW80 and GKP70, at 10mg each.
