BPC-157 vs GHK-Cu

GHK-Cu is cheaper per mg: $0.036 per mg at its best-priced strength, 100mg (CU100) against $0.509 per mg for BPC-157 at 10mg (BC10), 93 percent less. The two share no strength, and a milligram of one compound is not a milligram of the other, so these figures compare price, not amount of compound. BPC-157 is offered in 3 strengths (2mg to 10mg), GHK-Cu in 2 (50mg to 100mg); 2 and 1 of those are on the shelf today.

What differs between BPC-157 and GHK-Cu

A fifteen-residue chain against a three-residue one held as a copper complex: BPC-157 is GEPPPGKPADDAGLV at 1,419.6, and GHK-Cu is glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to copper(II), C14H22CuN6O4 at 401.9. BPC-157 has nothing in it to oxidise or deamidate, so its related substances are synthesis by-products; GHK-Cu is a blue to blue-violet powder, its certificate identifies the tripeptide by mass (340.4), and a complete 1:1 complex is about 15.8 percent copper by weight, a figure the desk gives for a batch on request. Both are also in the GLOW, KLOW and GKP70 blend vials; strengths and per-milligram prices below.

Questions

What is the difference between BPC-157 and GHK-Cu?

A fifteen-residue chain against a three-residue one held as a copper complex: BPC-157 is GEPPPGKPADDAGLV at 1,419.6, and GHK-Cu is glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to copper(II), C14H22CuN6O4 at 401.9.

How do BPC-157 and GHK-Cu differ in colour and mass?

GHK-Cu is a blue to blue-violet powder, and a white cake is not GHK-Cu. By mass, BPC-157’s line is 1,419.6, [M+H]+ at m/z 1419.711 at high resolution; the copper complex weighs 401.9 and the tripeptide alone 340.4, and their protonated ions are m/z 402.107 with 63Cu and 404.105 with 65Cu for the complex, and 341.193 for the tripeptide.

How much BPC-157 and GHK-Cu is in the GLOW, KLOW and GKP blends?

GLOW70: 10mg of BPC-157 and 50mg of GHK-Cu, with 10mg of TB-500. GLOW50: 5mg and 35mg, with 10mg of TB-500. KLOW80: 10mg and 50mg, with 10mg each of TB-500 and KPV. GKP70: 10mg and 50mg, with 10mg of KPV. GHK-Cu is 62.5 to 71.4 percent of each fill and BPC-157 10 to 14.3 percent.

Which is cheaper per mg, BPC-157 or GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu, at $0.036 per mg for its best-priced strength, 100mg (CU100) against $0.509 per mg for BPC-157 at 10mg (BC10), 93 percent less. The two share no strength, and a milligram of one compound is not a milligram of the other, so these figures compare price, not amount of compound.

Which comes in more strengths, BPC-157 or GHK-Cu?

BPC-157, with 3 against 2. Every strength is a separate line with its own code, price and stock state.

Are BPC-157 and GHK-Cu made to the same specification?

Yes: both are supplied to purity not less than 98.0 percent by RP-HPLC and net content within 5 percent of label, and each certificate reports those with a measured mass, matched to the calculated figure on each sheet. The retest date is on the batch record. What differs is each molecule’s own chemistry, described on its compound page.
