CJC-1295 no DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) vs GHRP-2
Strength for strength, GHRP-2 costs less per mg at the two strengths both are offered in: at 5mg $0.852 per mg against $1.766 (G25 in 50-box lots, CND5), at 10mg $0.727 per mg against $1.641 (G210 in 50-box lots, CND10). By the single box, CJC-1295 no DAC is the only option, from $1.641 per mg at 10mg (CND10); every GHRP-2 line is special order. CJC-1295 no DAC is offered in 3 strengths (2mg to 10mg), GHRP-2 in 2 (5mg to 10mg); CJC-1295 no DAC has 1 on the shelf today, GHRP-2 none (special order, 50-box minimum). The least either takes: one box of CND5 at $88.30, two for a first order’s $100 minimum, against 50 boxes of G25, $2,129.50 of goods.

What differs between CJC-1295 no DAC and GHRP-2
A 29-residue chain against a six-residue one. CJC-1295 no DAC, modified GRF (1-29), is sermorelin’s chain with four residues changed, an amide of 3,368.0 (C152H252N44O42) with no methionine, asparagine or tryptophan, so its three glutamines are the residues that can deamidate. GHRP-2, also called pralmorelin, is D-Ala-D-2-Nal-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2 at 818.0 (C45H55N9O6), and its one tryptophan is the residue that can oxidise. Both end in an amide and both carry a D-alanine, at position 2 in the longer chain and at position 1 in GHRP-2.

Questions
What is the difference between CJC-1295 no DAC and GHRP-2?
A 29-residue chain against a six-residue one. CJC-1295 no DAC, modified GRF (1-29), is sermorelin’s chain with four residues changed, an amide of 3,368.0 (C152H252N44O42) with no methionine, asparagine or tryptophan, so its three glutamines are the residues that can deamidate.
Which chain is the more basic?
CJC-1295 no DAC. Arginines 11, 20 and 29, lysines 12 and 21 and the free N-terminus outweigh its two aspartates, 3 and 25, for a net charge of about +4 near neutral pH; GHRP-2 has no acidic residue, and its one basic side chain, the lysine that ends it, with its free N-terminus brings it to about +2. That is why the m/z figures on this page are for 3+ and 4+ on the longer chain, and for 1+ and 2+ on GHRP-2.
Which is cheaper per mg, CJC-1295 no DAC or GHRP-2?
Strength for strength, GHRP-2 costs less per mg at the two strengths both are offered in: at 5mg $0.852 per mg against $1.766 (G25 in 50-box lots, CND5), at 10mg $0.727 per mg against $1.641 (G210 in 50-box lots, CND10).
What are the molecular weights of CJC-1295 no DAC and GHRP-2?
CJC-1295 no DAC’s calculated average mass is 3,368.0 g/mol and GHRP-2’s 818.0 g/mol, 2,550.0 apart; in electrospray the ions come at m/z 1123.7 and 843.0 (3+ and 4+) for CJC-1295 no DAC against 819.0 and 410.0 (1+ and 2+) for GHRP-2. On each certificate the measured mass is matched to the line’s calculated average mass, within about one unit, as how to read a peptide COA sets out.
Are CJC-1295 no DAC and GHRP-2 made to the same specification?
Yes: both are supplied to purity not less than 98.0 percent by RP-HPLC and net content within 5 percent of label, and each certificate reports those with a measured mass, matched to the calculated figure on each sheet. The retest date is on the batch record. What differs is each molecule’s own chemistry, described on its compound page.
